What is Professional Plus? 

It is a 12 Day English Immersion Programme, an individual (1-1) course of study. 

This 12 day English language training offers 130+ hours of learning and practice over two weeks and one weekend.

The programme starts on Monday of Week 1 and runs continuously for 12 days until Friday of Week 2. 

Who is this programme for?

Professional Plus is for anyone who wants to increase their level of English, substantially, in a short space of time either for business or personal development. 

The programme is suitable for beginners to advanced learners of English.

You may wish to improve your level of general English or you may require training for a specific purpose i.e. to deliver speeches, to conduct talks/negotiations  or to improve your comprehension for attending conferences/meetings etc.

For the more advanced course participant this substantial training programme is an opportunity for in-depth study and extended practice. 

For absolute beginners/false beginners this programme provides a rapid and solid foundation of basic English.   

I have specific needs which I want to address. 

To enable us to design your course you will complete a Needs Request Form telling us exactly what you require.  

We will address the needs you highlight and incorporate them in your schedule. We will also include any other needs identified by your instructors after your first session of training and a needs analysis assessment. 

At Sandown Heritage we are flexible and adapt to your changing needs as you progress through your course. 

What is the course schedule?

Each morning we will pick you up and bring you to school for your training sessions; these include classroom based lessons and various activities/visits/talks which are designed to extend and develop your comprehension and use of English. 

Each day of your programme is different, as you will see on your individual schedule. 

Throughout your day, for each activity on your schedule, you are always accompanied by a member of our team. This is so that you are constantly using and listening to English. Confidence is key to improving your language skills so having expert guidance on hand at all times is essential for helping you to extend your level of comprehension and use of English.

The day starts at 9am (09.00hrs) and finishes between 7pm-10pm (19.00-22.00hrs). Your finishing time depends on the activities on your schedule. 

You are with English speakers at all times, during training sessions, breaks, lunch and dinner, and all activities connected with your course. 

Each day you will have lunch and dinner at a local restaurant with one of your instructors. Your day will flow smoothly from one activity to another because the schedule is divided into short blocks of activities which keep you focused and interested.    

For the start of your course you should plan to arrive in England at Liverpool or Manchester Airport on Sunday afternoon/evening. We will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation in Southport, where Sandown Heritage is based. Southport is a seaside town on the north west coast of England.  

PLEASE NOTE: Liverpool and Manchester Airports are the nearest international airports for Sandown Heritage. 

At the end of your course we take you back to the airport for your return flight. Your course will finish at 5pm (17.00hrs) on Friday of Week 2, so you should plan your return flight for Friday evening or Saturday morning. 

Your English immersion programme starts as soon as we meet you at the airport and continues until we take you back for your return flight. 

You will make rapid progress developing and extending your level of English throughout your course because we ensure that your time with us in England is used to the maximum.

Course fees include:

All training and activities on your Professional Plus schedule; all meals & refreshments; local transport as required for your course; hotel accommodation for 12 nights (extra nights £80GBP); Liverpool/Manchester Airport pick-up & drop-off.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• Course fees do not include travel to and from the UK. 
• It is your responsibility to have the necessary visas/documentation to enter The UK.
